Who We Are

Minds on the Mersey Podcast is a men’s mental health podcast built around honest conversations, real experiences, and breaking down the stigma that still surrounds mental wellbeing.

Located in Merseyside and shaped by the voices of the people who live here, the podcast is a space for real stories to be shared openly – without judgement, labels, or the pressure to have all the answers.

Through open, down-to-earth conversations with guests from all walks of life, Minds on the Mersey looks at the things many men deal with every day: stress, anxiety, identity, loss, addiction, and the weight of trying to keep everything together. Alongside the tough stuff, there’s space for hope too — for resilience, recovery, and finding a way forward. This isn’t about quick fixes or telling people what to do, but about listening, understanding, and knowing you’re not on your own.

The podcast is about connection. It exists for men who might find it hard to speak up, who feel isolated, or who don’t always know where to turn. By making mental health conversations normal — and showing that opening up takes strength, not weakness — Minds on the Mersey aims to challenge the silence and remind people that support starts with a conversation.
